Kyle Pratt is an American aircraft engineer, who has became a widow since her husband David fell off from their roof. Kyle is raising alone 6-year old daughter, Julia. Kyle decides to bury David's body in the United States, she and Julia fly with plane back to the States. They step aboard of Aalto Airlines, Elgn 747, which Kyle helped to design. Kyle and Julia fall asleep for a few hours, Kyle wakes up and realizes Julia is missing. She tries to remain calm, but starts to panic when flight attendants claim they've never seen Julia. Stephanie, one of the flight attendants contacts Berlin airport, where she gets the shocking information - they don't have a record of Julia boarding the flight. After some time searching for Julia gives
no results, Kyle has a long conversation with Captain Rich, who thinks she imagines having Julia coming on board. After Captain leaves Gene Carson in charge of Kyle's behavior, she starts blaming two foreign men Ahmed and Obaid of kidnapping Julia. Captain Rich notifies Julia died in the same accident as David. Kyle tries to run away, but one of the Arab men pushes her and she faints after the hit. Kyle wakes up in her seat, where she gets talking to a therapist named Lisa. They talk for a while until Kyle decides she needs some moments alone in the bathroom. Finally being alone in the bathroom, Kyle makes a desperate attempt to find her daughter for the last time in the places, where the crew hasn't searched. She searches the cars while Captain and Carson try to locate her. Carson finds her around David's casket and escorts her back to the plane. Kyle stays in put until the plane lands in New York, it becomes clear Carson is the hijacker of the plane and has been the whole this time. Kyle locks Carson by handcuffs and goes finding Julia. Carson and his helper, flight attendant Stephanie stay on the other side of the plain and Kyle on the other. Kyle faces Stephanie, who makes a quick escape on the last
minute, Carson is still on the plane. Kyle finds Julia unconcious and tries to find a way to get out of the plane with her. Kyle uses explosives on Carson, blowing up the whole plane. She carries Julia out of the plane for everyone to see she
told the truth the whole time. Passengers, including Captain Rich are shocked, though he tries to apologize to Kyle about his skepticism. Stephanie is being hold by FBI and is escorted away in handcuffs. Kyle escorts her daughter away, she is being helped by one of the Arab passengers. Julia wakes up and sleepily wonders they are already in New York as her mother promised her before the flight.

Telly Paretta has under impression that her son, Sam died 14 months ago in a plane crash, her husband Jim affirms they've
never had a son and thinks Telly is delusional. Telly's friend Eliot doesn't also seem to believe that Sam ever existed. Telly
has weekly sessions with Dr. Jack Munce, who confirms that she imagines life that might have been. One day when Telly wants revisit her memories about Sam, she finds photo albums empty like he never existed. Jim arrives home, trying to convince Telly again about their non-existing son, afterwards arrives Dr. Munce, who wants to put Telly in the mental ward, but she escapes and looks help from Eliot, who denies of remembering Sam also. She visits a man named Ash, who she thinks had a daughter, Lauren, who died in the same crash as Sam did. Ash doesn't certify he ever had a daughter and calls police for Telly. After Telly is taken to custody, Ash enters Lauren's former room and remembers her existence. Ash saves Telly from the hands of police, they head to the motel for the night to discuss their forwarding plan. Telly visits Jim the next day, trying to make him remind Sam by saying his name, but when Jim sees her, he doesn't recognize Telly anymore, like his memories has been washed away. Dr. Munce visits Detective Anne Pope on the late hour to offer his help on finding Telly, he claims on being uncertain of Telly's delusions. Detective Pope seems to believing Telly and starts to investigate why would two people lie about having children. Telly and Ash get to meet the man who is probably behind kidnapping the children. An agent reveals he and the other agent have been helping the unknown "them" to protect the
humankind. Dr. Munce drives away from Long Island with Ash to find Telly, while she is still stuck in the island. Detective Pope finds her, promising she will find her son, thought Detective won't get to say another word since she is flown away to the sky. Munce finds Telly and drives her to the airport, where they meet the agent again, who confesses this is not over yet. Telly starts talking to an agent and he finally confesses it's an experiment to see if mother's connection to her child can be dissolved. Agent forces Telly to give him the memory of the first time she ever saw Sam. He tries to make Telly forget Sam ever existed. For a moment seems like it succeed, but then she reminds him once again, she won't ever forget Sam. Telly finds herself in a playground full of children, she desperately seeks Sam and she finds him. She feels insanely happy and even sees Ash's daughter Lauren. Sam is allowed to play for some time, Telly finds Ash sitting on a swing. They meet again officially, though they both feel like they know each other.

Amy Mitchell is a married woman, is raising two children, Jane and Dylan and mostly feels herself overstrained and under appreciated. She works as sales representative in a coffee company, takes care of her kids, does most of their homework and is active in her school's PTA that is run by commanding Gwendolyn James and her followers, Stacy and Vicky. When
one day Amy catches her husband Mike cheating, she kicks him out of the house and tries to keep herself and everything in her life together. After very stressful day, Amy publicly notifies of quitting PTA and meets at nearby bar with two other moms - sexually-active single mom Carla and stay at home mother Kiki. Amy and Carla are winded up about Kiki's situation at home - her husband is expecting Kiki to raise the kids on her own without any help, Amy and Kiki are disconcerted in turn about Carla's free education she's giving her kids. One day Amy finds out Mike visited the woman he cheated on her with and she decides to have a night out. Kiki and Carla head over to her place, they find Amy perfect dress to wear and head to a bar. Amy tries to communicate with many men, but always ends up saying the wrong things and gives up. Suddenly Jesse Harkness approaches, they get to talking the whole night and end up kissing. Amy starts feel good about herself until she finds out her daughter, Jane was left in the bench at soccer practice. She warns Gwendolyn that she will take her down by candidating as PTA president. Kiki and Carla doesn't truly believe in her win, but do everything to get other moms votes. Amy also changes the method of educating her children - from now on they have to do their own homework and cook their own food. The next evening kids are staying elsewhere and Amy has a candidate meeting at her place, where only one mom shows up. Women turn the situation around and soon all moms from school are destroying their wine closet. Mike and Amy finally visit a therapist, Dr. Karl, but nothing good comes out of it and in the process of conversation, young people realize they don't have feelings for each other anymore and the right thing to do is to get  a divorce. After getting fired from her six year long dedication to the coffee company, Amy finds out Principal Burr has found drugs in Jane's locker. For a punishment she is banned from soccer team, Jane is offended, angry and decides to stay with Mike for a while. Even Dylan goes and Amy stays house alone, feeling depressed. Kiki and Carla visit Amy in the evening when she's supposed to be at PTA election. She doesn't feel like going at all to fight again with Gwendolyn, but decides to go after the speech Carla gives her. After PTA election Amy finds Gwendolyn crying in her car and decides to approach her. By doing it and talking to her for a while, she realizes her life isn't so great also. Amy is suprised how her decision changing kids education has started working, Kiki took control of her husband and Carla became closer with her son like she never did before. After dropping kids off at school, ladies and Gwendolyn go for a ride with her husband's plane.

Mary Fiore is a beautiful, young and single woman, who works as a wedding planner. She is ambitious, very hard-working and is exceedingly organized. She knows exactly what to do and say to make any wedding admirable event for everyone. After turning her back to another successful wedding she planned and coordinated, Mary gets reintroduced to childhood friend Massimo by her father, Salvatore, who thinks he has found the perfect guy for her to marry. Mary tries to be polite towards Massimo and decides to keep her focus on new client's, catering heiress, Fran Donolly's wedding to her boyfriend Eddie. While being on the phone, Mary's shoe gets stuck in manhole cover. She tries to get shoe free from there after seeing a dumpster rolling in her way, but fails to do and is saved by a man before fainting. Mary wakes up at the hospital,
where she is introduced tp pediatrician Steve Edison, who saved her. Mary's colleague Penny invites Steve with her and Mary to ourdoor movie screening, only to leave the pair alone for the night. Mary and Steve share a special moment at the movies. Some days later Mary and Fran meet up to go to a dance class, there Mary meets her fiance, who turns out to be Steve, she had a movie date some nights back. Mary is mad towards Steve and isn't afraid to show as they have to dance while Fran is taking an important phone call. Mary finds herself in deep thought whther she should continue planning Fran and Steve's wedding, at the same time Steve is thinking about his attraction towards Mary is the sign he shouldn't marry Fran. Penny convinces Mary her career is more important than a crush and Steve's colleague assures to his doubts are coming from pre-wedding nerves. Fran, Mary and Steve visit wedding venues, Fran leaves for a week long business trip and leaves Mary and Steve in charge on wedding preparations. On the night when Mary gets very drunk, Steve spends night in her apartment when he confesses having feelings for Mary, though she pushes him back, saying she respects Fran too much to let anything happen between them. Fran returns earlier from her trip than expected, she confesses to Mary that she doesn't know if she loves Steve anymore. Ignoring her wish to be with Steve, Mary convinces her to go through with the wedding. At the birthday party, Massimo brings proposal to Mary's attention, she finally agrees to marry him and wedding planner's own preparations for a wedding can be begun. Before the Donolly wedding, Fran and Steve meet up and agree it's not their time to marry, break off their wedding and relationship and stay friends. Steve finds out from Penny that Mary might be getting married any second and he speeds his step to stop her. Massimo and Mary are preparing to
get married at the town hall, but Salvatore stops the wedding after realizing Massimo is not the right man for her. Mary tries to convince her father that marriage with Massimo is the right step, but calls off the wedding. Steve finds Mary in the  outdoor movie place, where they had a movie date some time ago. They talk, dance and finally give power to their feelings.

Carrie Bradshaw walks through the streets of New York while reminding the colorful events that had happened to her and four best girlfriends, Charlotte York, Samantha Jones and Miranda Hobbes. All of them has left behind wild years living in New York and has settled with their lives. Charlotte is happily married with Harry Goldenblatt, with who she adopted a Chinese little girl Lily. Miranda is living in Brooklyn with Steve, they are raising together their son, Brady. Samantha has a successful career in Los Angeles, she shares her success with Smith, who's career is on top also. Though Samantha misses
her old, wild life and decides to fly to New York to spend time with her girlfriends. Carrie is in relationship with Mr. Big and
they are planing to move in together. They get a penthouse Carrie fell in love with and allows Big to pay for it. She thinks
of selling her own apartment, but is rushed back to reality, realizing she would have to move into her old apartment when they separate since couple is not married. Feeling pressure of getting married, Mr. Big finally proposes and Carrie accepts it.  After moving out from her apartment and Miranda confessing the sad fact that Steve has cheated on her, Carrie and Mr. Big have a little fight about the number of wedding guests. They make up quickly and rehearsal dinner takes place, where everything seems to be going great until Steve shows up at the rehearsal dinner, Miranda is very upset and says something to Big about marriage that makes him feel bad. The next morning Carrie and her friends are very excited and head out to wedding ceremony, at the same time Big tries to call Carrie and let her know marrying isn't the right thing to do. Carrie arrives half an hour late at the library where wedding takes place, as soon as she calls Big it becomes clear the wedding is off. Miranda realizes the reason Big backed out, was the thing she said to him after rehearsal dinner. Charlotte advises Miranda not to tell anything to Carrie, Samantha books them a three plane tickets to Mexico and they all use their vacation trip. Carrie sleeps for the first couple of days until she decides it's time to move on. Women arrive back to New York and Carrie starts searching for an assistant. Through many not fitting candidates, she finally finds a perfect one - Louise. On New Years evening Carrie receives a sad phone call from Miranda, who's left alone for the night since it's Steve night to have Brady to himself. Carrie rushes over to Miranda's place to let her know she is not alone. On a Valentine's Day dinner Miranda finally confesses to Carrie what she said to Big and two best friends spend some time without talking. They finally make  up and talk about both of their mistakes, Steve and Miranda visit marriage counselor to save their marriage. Carrie's assistant Louise leaves from the job in relation to moving back to St. Louis and getting married to her boyfriend Will. Samantha meets her next door neighbor Dante and gains a few pound not to cheat and after some time she breaks off with Smith. On the same day when Charlotte gives birth to baby Rose, Carrie rushes to her apartment to get the shoes and meets Mr. Big there. They talk and decide to just get married in the city hall.

Loretta Jamison is a divorced mother of two children, 15-year old daughter Becca and 13-year old son Tyler. Loretta sends her kids to spend time with their grandparents or five days while she goes on a cruise with her new boyfriend. Before sending Becca and Tyler away, she confesses she hasn't spoke to her mother and father for 15 years in relation to being married to her high school teacher Corin, who's also father of Becca and Tyler, whom her parents disapproved. Becca wants to know more about the argument, but Loretta suggests she should ask themselves about it. Becca and Tyler decide to make
a documentary about their stay at grandparents's place, who they've never seen. Arrived to the isolated farmhouse where Nana and Pop Pop live, everybody gets along fine. Tyler and Becca are not used to go to sleep early, but at grandparents place they must do it, since Pop Pop instructs them not to leave the room after 9:30 pm and not to go to the basement since it contains toxic mold. On a first night Becca gets hungry and decides to get some of Nana baked cookies, but on the way to kitchen, she notices Nana walking around and vomiting. She gets scared and asks the next morning Pop Pop about it, who explains it as Nana having a stomach flu, he warns Becca again not to leave her room after said time in the evening. In the past couple of days, Nana and Pop Pop start acting a way too weird for Tyler and he expresses his concern to Loretta when he and Becca make a Skype call to her. Becca and Loretta try to calm Tyler down, stating old people tend to do weird stuff when they're at certain age. Leaving day comes around fast for Becca and Tyler. Becca gives one final attempt to try figure out what happened between Loretta and her grandparents. She makes up a story about a girl, who's in love with an older man and escapes from home. It will be clear that Nana would forgive her daughter for leaving home and not listening her warnings. Nana and Pop Pop go out for a walk, in the meanwhile Becca and Tyler call their mom through
Skype and beg her to pick them up right at this moment in relation to being scared of their grandparents's weird behavior. Tyler shows Loretta Nana and Pop Pop through a video camera and she looks panicked, she notifys them that those people are not their grandparents. Loretta advices them to leave the house and find a neighbor until she arrives with the police. Becca and Tyler try to escape, but Pop Pop catches them and they start to play Yahtzee board game together. Grandpa rolls the dice, Becca leaves Tyler playing with them and heads to the basement with the camera. Nana begins acting very strange, Pop Pop take her to her room to rest, leaving Tyler alone. Becca finds photographs of their real grandparents and their working clothes and finally discovers their dead bodies. She is caught by Pop Pop, who attacks her. Becca realizes they're murderers and have planned to kill then this whole time after the week long visit is done. After struggling to break free, Tyler and Becca escape from the house, where they meet Loretta and police officers.

Rebecca thought leaving from her home and being away from her mother, Sophie, she could forget the horrors in her  childhood. She has been trying to forget horrible childhood memories. Rebecca has seeing Bret, her boyfriend for eight months, though she still has commitment issues with everyone, especially Bret. When Rebecca's little brother Martin starts having issues in school for falling asleep in class, she pays a visit to Sophie, their mother. Rebecca has a suspicion that Sophie has been of her meds. Rebecca takes Martin to stay with her for a while until Sophie gets on meds again and
feels better. The next morning social worker Emma visits Rebecca's apartment and lets her know she can't take Martin from Sophie just because she wants to avenge her mother. After Emma leaves with Martin, Rebecca discovers Diana's name under her carpet, through her childhood she though Diana was someone Sophie made up because of her depression, but realizes Diana is real. She and Bret visit Sophie, realizing she is not home, they enter the house and look for clues that could make them understand who Diana really is. Rebecca finds a box full of information about Sophie's stay at mental institution when she was a young girl. Listening to voice recordings, Rebecca finds out Diana was a girl, who Sophie befriended at mental hospital. Diana suffered a rare skin disorder, which made her avoid light. Doctors tried experimental procedure of her to cure her, which ended with Diana's death. Rebecca hears a creeping sound in her old room and goes to wonder in it, the door closes and Diana tries strangle Rebecca with her own necklace. Rebecca understands Martin is not safe alone with Sophie in the house, so she and Bret stay for the night. In the middle of the night, Martin wakes up, realizes Rebecca is gone and finds her in the basement. A brother and sister get locked up in the basement by Diana, who will stop at nothing to keep her friendship with Sophie and keeps the children away, who don't understand her. Bret tries toget Rebecca and Martin out of the basement, but furious Diana attacks him and he drives off from the house, leaving them with diddly quat of light source. Rebecca finds writings on the wall in the basement and is finally figuring out that Diana has been living in the basement since it's comfortable dark there. Bret hurries back with two police officers, though he warns them to bring them flashlights, police doesn't listen to him. Rebecca and Martin are freed from the basement in virtue of police officers. Officer Andrews is killed by Diana, a female officer goes looking for the person, who killed him,
while Bret gets Martin out of the house for safety and Rebecca goes searching for Sophie. Diana realizes what Rebecca wants to do and attacks her. Sophie pulls out a gun to save Rebecca's from Diana's ruthless actions. She understands that to make Diana disappear, she has to disappear and shoots herself in the head to save her children.

Allison 'Allie' Jones works as a software designer in New York, she is engaged to Sam Rawson. In the middle of the night Sam's ex-wife Lisa calls and it becomes clear Sam has been sleeping with her recently. Hurt and angry Allison throws Sam out of the apartment and breaks off the engagement. Allie is comforted by her neighbor Graham Knox. Next day Allie has a business luch with Mitchell Myerson, who is interested in buying her new program. Since he is Allison's first client, she agrees to lowering the price and accepts the offer. After a breakup with Sam, Allison feels kind of lonely and decides to put an ad to newspaper in relation to find a roommate. Through many candidates that don't fit to her, Hedra Carlson appears on her door step and they seem to getting alone fine. Allison and Hedra's friendship grows deeper as they spend more time together. By time it becomes clear to Allison that Hedy as she nicknamed her has seriously disturbed mind. One night when Allison comes home, she sees Hedra in front of a mirror, dressed and even having a same haircut as her. She follows Hedy to a nightclub and rushes back to get advice from her neighbor. Graham advices Allie to get rid of Hedra before he does it himself. When Allie asks Hedra to find herself a new place to live, Hedra makes a desperate act to destroy
Allie's life, she visits Sam in the hotel and has an intercourse with him. They get into a big fight over telling Allison about their one night affair. Hedra kills Sam with only a shoe and tries to hide it smoothly from Allison in the next morning. Allie finds out about Sam's death in television news program and freaks out, trying to hide it from Hedra. She hides Allison in Graham's apartment. Hedra leaves the apartment, leaving Allison alone, who tries to find a way to make other people know she's there. Police arrives at Graham's apartment door, hearing loud music. Hedra arrives in time, promising to keep the voice down and punishes Allie by hitting her. Situation gets out of control when Graham wakes up in the bathroom and tries to save Allison, but gets hurt again. Hedra strangles Allison to her death in the elevator, she leaves for some moments
and when she arrives back, Allie's body is gone. Allison attacks Hedra with a knife in her back and finally sees her giving up. Hedra dies instantly.

Oliver 'Ollie' Trinke is ambitious media publicist, who meets beautiful and young Latina woman named Gertrude Steiney, young people get married fast and some months later Gertrude finds out she's pregnant. Ollie keeps working like he did
before and leaves Gertrude without deserved attention. When Gertrude goes into labor and gives birth to their daughter, she died afterwards in relation to internal bleeding. Oliver decides not to face his grief and loss, he buries himself into work. Gertie, his newborn daughter gets all the necessary attention and care from Oliver's father, Bart Trinke, who takes a month off from Jersey City Sanitation Crew, where he works. After Bart leaves Oliver alone with Gertie to deal with being a single parent, Ollie destroys his job as publicist by trashing his latest client, Will Smith. Seven years later, Oliver is  continually living in New Jersey with Bart and Gertie, who has become seven years old by now. Ollie tries to get a job at local publicity firm, but finds out he is still blacklisted by all New York's public relation firms, who refuse to hire him, even though he has a great resume. Ollie has to come to terms to work in Jersey City as civil servant. Gertie is going to elementary school, on her free time from studying, she makes Ollie go to video store to rent movies and watch them as spending quality family time. In the video store they meet Maya, young store's shopkeeper. Ollie feels for the first time after Gertrude's passing that he's interested in someone and Gertie likes Maya too, quickly she becomes part of their lives. After spending time with outraged citizens, he understands how much he misses public relations work and gets in contact with his one-time protege Arthur and ends up having a promising interview to get his career back in the New York's firm. Tension grows between Ollie, Gertie, Bart and Maya when it turns out his interview is at the same time as Gertie's school talent show. Ollie and Gertie get into a huge fight, he loses control over his emotions and tells his 9-year old that she and her mother took life from him and he only wants it back. Gertie is very offended and hurt, tries to hurt his father back. Oliver tries to apologize to his daughter, but words are spoken, Gertie won't accept his apology and goes crying to her room. Few days later they make up and Gertie accepts actual fact that they are moving back to New York. Oliver heads out to his interview in the city, while waiting he has a chance to meet with the man, who he trashed at his public outburst before he lost his job and 
career, Will Smith. Will has no idea no Ollie is, but they get to talk about work and children. Oliver decides to leave the office before he's even been interviewed to make it on time to Gertie's performance at the school. Paul Sheldon is a noted novelist, who is the author of successful romance novels with a character named Misery Chastain. Paul wants to focus on writing more serious stories, postponing his Misery career. He rides back from Colorado to his home in New York, he's caught in snowstorm and makes an accident with his car, a crash leaves him injured and unconcious in the car. He is saved by nurse, Annie Wilkes, who transports him to her remote home. Paul regains consciousness and realizes his legs are broken and has a dislocated shoulder. Annie starts claiming she is the biggest fan of Paul's books and after a little talk about his novels, Paul gives Annie his manuscript to read. When Annie finishes the script and rushed into Paul's room in rage, claiming he murdered Misery in his novel. He is left alone in the room after Annie throws a chair against the wall. Paul realizes that book about Misery has made Annie obsessed with it and tries to escape, but realizes Annie has locked him in the room. Annie pressures Paul to burn the manuscript she didn't like, he tries to talk her out of it, but finally gives up and lits the manuscript in fire. The next day Annie seems to be having a good mood and soon Paul faces
Annie's suprise - he needs to write a book where Misery doesn't die and it could be called Misery's Return. Getting along lasts for a short time, Paul pisses Annie with the choice of the paper. She gets pissed off and leaves to town to get a
new kind of paper for Paul to write on. At the same time Paul tries to get out of the room, he manages to open the door with Annie's hair-grip. Paul makes previous attempts of writing a new script before Annie is satisfied. On the night Paul finished the script, he and Annie are having dinner by the candle light. Paul secretly puts medications Annie gave him in her drink. Because of Annie's clumsiness, she destroys the glass of wine where Paul put the medication in. Few next days he keeps on writing to keep Annie happy. On the night when thunderstorm hits the town, Annie gives straight hints to Paul about her feelings towards him. She seems filled with sadness and leaves Paul alone in the house. He decides to look around the house, grabs a knife to protect him if necessary and finds a photo album of Annie's. Looking at pictures of her, he finds articles that Annie has deeply disturbed mind and was arrested for baby murders in the past. Paul keeps the knife close in case. Annie gives Paul a shot with syringe in the middle of the night, in the morning he wakes up, feeling he's being tied. Annie confesses she knows Paul has been out of his room and for punishment, she makes sure he can't go anywhere anymore and smashes his legs so he can't walk. Only sheriff in town, Buster gets a big clue about Sheldon's disappearance
and drives up to Wilkes house to check it out. But Buster gets killed by Annie with a shot in the back when he sees Paul injured on the floor. Paul talks Annie out of drugging him again and promises her to finish the book the way she likes and then they can die to give Misery an eternal life. Paul finishes the novel and when Annie comes to his room with a champagne glass. They get into huge physical fight, where Paul gets a bullet, but all the anger of staying in Annie's house, gives him an advantange and he knows Annie down and tries to escape with his life. Annie does everything to stop it. 18 months later Paul is on the meeting with his agent, where he confesses even thought Annie is dead, she still crosses his mind sometimes.

Three years ago, successful chef Adam Jones worked in one of the premier restaurants in Paris. His drug problems and  diva-like behavior drove him over the edge, he takes down the restaurant along his friends careers. Adam disappears after the big failure in the business, he sobered up and sentenced himself to shucking one million oysters at a bar in New Orleans. Adam finishes shucking the millionth oyster and returns to London with a plan recapture his lost name and goes after his third Michelin star. Arrived to London, Adam starts looking up his old colleagues and friends, he visits his former mentor, Jean-Luc's master of hotel, Tony, who manages his father's hotel. Adam is downwright with him and offers that
he wants to take over the hotel's restaurant, but Tony doesn't trust him anymore since what happened in Paris. The next
one who Adam visits his friend Conti, who owns a restaurant now, he meets with Conti's sous-chef Helene, thought she doesn't like him back. Adam makes up with one of his friend's, Michel, who's career he almost destroyed by releasing rats in Michel's kitchen and reporting him to health inspector, which ended with closing his restaurant. Some days later Tony kicks Adam out of the hotel and help is given to him by chef on the rise, David, who agrees to work in Adam's  restaurant when he can crash in David's apartment. Adam makes contact with famous restaurant critic Simone Forth, who agrees to dine in Tony's hotel restaurant. Simone is impressed with Adam's food so much that Tony and his father accept the idea of renovating the hotel's kitchen and hire Adam as the head chef, though he has to take weekly drug tests with Tony's psychiatrist Dr. Rosshilde. Helene is fired by Conti and runs crying to Adam, who decides to help her. He offers Helene bigger salary and she accepts the job. Opening night at Langhams turns out to be a disaster and Adam becomes furious with everyone in the staff, including Helene. After embarassed in front her colleague and physical attack, Helen quits working for Adam. The next day Tony visits Helene to bring her back to The Langhams, explaining Adam's behavior and the home he comes from. Tony offers to double Helene's salary even more and she agrees to a comeback. Adam treats her with more respect than before when she comes back until they have a new reason to start fighting. When Helene's daughter Lily has a birthday and she can't take take a day off to celebrate it with her, Tony will gladly watch Lily. After a while Tony enters the kitchen, asking Adam to make a birthday cake, which he refuses at the beginning, but is forced to do it. He brings personally birthday cake to Lily and tries to connect with her, which improves his and Helene's relationship. Adam receives an invitation to the reopening to Reece's restaurant, Helene agrees to be his date. Adam is very much suprised when he sees Jean-Luc's daughter, Anne Marie there, who he used to date before things went bad for him. They talk for while and it turns out Anne Marie has gotten clean also. The next morning he wanders around and Helen finds him in the fish market, where Adam opens up to her and reveals how he started doing drugs. After having their first kiss in front of the restaurant, Adam is taken away by men to who he owns a drug money. Worried
Helene finds Adam beaten up outside the kitchen entrance. After the announcement that Michelin men are in the restaurant, Adam pulls himself together and starts to work himself up for the third Michelin star. When another plates are delivered  to the tables, some of them come back. Michel reveals he put too much pepper in the food, for having revenge on Adam for what happened in Paris. Adam leaves the kitchen and wanders around London, ending up at Reece's restaurant being drunk. He tries to kill himself with sous-vide bag when Reece rips the bag off from Adam's head. The next morning Adam wakes up at Reece's kitchen, telling him what happened about the third star. Reece compliments him, revealing he is a better chef and everyone needs him around. Adam discovers that Anne Marie payed off his debt for his drugs, she gives her papa's knives to Adam for making his dishes even more perfect. Truth is revealed by Tony about the Michelin men, turns out they were just software salesman from Birmingham. Adam changes his behavior and attitude in the kitchen. He listens to Helene more and even puts Max input and supports David more. He works together with other chefs to bring a great meal to every table and receive the third star.

Penelope Wilhern, the daughter of Frank and Jessica Wilhern is young and beautiful woman, who has the ability to make

Generations ago an evil witch put a curse on Wilhern family after frustrated and pregnant servant girl threw herself off the cliff, angry witch swore that the next Wilhern who will be born if she's a girl, will have pig face. For five generations only sons were born until Penelope, who truly had the curse. The curse will be lifted if she finds someone who love her truly and faithfully. After a tabloid reporter Lemon tried to get the photograph
of infant Penelope and attacks Jessica, her parents decide to fake Penelope's death and put her away in their mansion to keep her safe from the outside world curious eyes. Years later when Penelope has grown to be an adult, her parents use help of matchmaker named Wanda and she is introduced to many gentlemen, who could fall in love with Penelope and breaks the curse. Unfortunately every man who lays eyes on Penelope, runs away in terror. Edward Vanderman's panicked
escape from the Wilhern's results in a newspaper, climing him to be insane. To clear his name, he teams up with Lemon to get a photograph of Penelope. They find a perfect candidate for Penelope, Max Campion, a rich young man, who is
disowned by family because of gambing issues. Lemon and Vanderman pay Max to pose to Penelope as her future bridegroom. Max starts talking to Penelope through one-way mirror, hiding a camera in his jacket to snap a picture at a perfect time. But Max sees Penelope as sweet and charming girl, she starts to trust him and even shows Max her face. Max is not scared of her face, but accidentally takes a picture of her, few moments later he escapes. Max is caught by Jessica and Wanda making a deal with Lemon. Max runs into the house, trying to explain his actions to Penelope, but it's her time to talk. She just wants to try if the curse will lift, if it doesn't, she promises to kill herself. Penelope asks asks Max to marry her, but he declines, Max leaves and Penelope runs to her room. Frustrated with her life and her mother not giving up, Penelope escapes the mansion and decides to see the world on her own for the first time. Penelope takes a room for herself in a big, fancy hotel. She goes shopping, walks around in the park with a scarf that's covered her nose. Jessica and Franklin go to the police station to give them Penelope's description when Jessica discovers her wallet is stolen. Realizing Penelope took it, they rush to the hotel, where she checked in with Jessica's credit card. Just when Franklin and Jessica are talking to administrator, Penelope sees them and escapes the hotel from a window. He finds a bar Max told her about and orders a beer. While drinking a beer, she gets talking to Annie, who's came to the bar after a rough night. Parents spot her in front of a museum and run after her, Penelope heads to the bar and faints. Annie takes off the scarf and lets everyone see her face. Edward confesses to his feelings to Penelope, though she hesitates at first, but sees the chance of curse being broken and young people start to date. When Max, who's name is actually Johnny Martin sees them together in the theatre, he understands Edward is just using her. Giving their wedding vows in front of the altar, Penelope changes her mind and runs away. Stepping back and forth in her room, listening Jessica trying to convince her about the wedding, Penelope
blurts out she likes the way she is. Her sees her whole life before her eyes and faints. When she wakes up and realizes  her pig nose is gone and she looks normal. Penelope sees Johnny at the party and they realize they are right for each other.

Based on a true story about torturing and murdering Sylvia Likens by Indianapolis housewife Gertrude Baniszewski.
Sylvia and Jenny Likens are daughters of Lester and Betty Likens, who works as professional carnival workers. Lester and
Betty head out to go on tour together, leaving their daughters under the care of Gertrude Baniszewksi. Gertrude's homefolk
is already filled with children and she is in financial straits. Sylvia befriends Gertrde's oldest daughter, Paula, who confesses in secret to her that Gertrude is having another baby. Everything seems to be going great, the girls get along fine until one day when all girls arrive home from the school and Gertrude seems to be upset. She orders all of her daughters upstairs, expect Sylvia and Jennie, who get orders to go to the basement. Girls follow the order and the both get whipped after Gertrude expresses concern over not getting Lester's check for taking care of the girls. All girls are spending time in town with Teddy and Ricky Hobbs, who has a crush on Sylvia. Paula meets up with Bradley, who tries to rape her, Sylvia sees them and blurts out the pregnancy secret, after that Paula is very angry and gets her revenge by compaining to Gerturude how Sylvia is talking trash about her in town. Girls arrive from the church, everybody watches how Paula beats Sylvia. Sylvia and Jennie make a long distance call to their parents, Baniszewski girls see that and arriving home, Sylvia gets punished again because of allegiedly stealing money that belongs to Gertrude. The punishment is not less hurtful this time, Sylvia gets burned with a cigarette on her hand. Sylvia's life gets turned to the worse when Gertie finds out everybody
in town are spreading rumors like Paula is pregnant and when she sees Sylvia flirting with her boyfriend, Andy, her limit couldn't take anymore. Gertrude's punishment is the most horrible of the last ones - Sylvia is asked to put a bottle up in her, even seeing a young girl crying an begging her, Gertie won't stop. Stephanie and Coy arrive at the same time as Sylvia gets her punishment, Gertrude order Coy throwing Sylvia in the basement. For weeks Sylvia gets tortured numberous times by every teenager in town, they all fail to notify the local law enforcement that Sylvia is being held against her will in the basement. Torturing goes over the edge when town pastor is visiting Baniszewski's house and it's revealed Paula is actually pregnant. In relation to Paula's guilt, one late night she helps Sylvia escape from the basement. The noise wakes up one of the Baniszewski sister's, who wakes up Gertrude. Paula sees her coming out of the house and holds Gertie still until Sylvia manages to get away. Sylvia collapses and falls to the ground when Ricky finds her, offers his help and asks for her forgiveness for everything he did to her in the basement. Ricky drives her to Sylvia's parents, who are shocked by what's being done to their daughter. They drive back with Sylvia to Baniszewski house, where she enters the house and sees her own body fading away from life. She has stopped breathing, Stephanie tries to convince Gertrude that Sylvia needs to be taken to the doctor, but Gertie doesn't believe it and does nothing to help her. Stephanie keeps trying to save Sylvia, but her body has turned cold. Ricky calls the police, Jenny promises to tell them everything if they take her away from that house. Jennie is swearing on the stand that Sylvia didn't do anything to Paula and Gertrude, the reason why she didn't report any of the actitities is that Gertie threatened her to do the same if she told anyone. Gertrude Basinszewski is found guilty of first degree murder after she denies everything and tries to put the blame of torturing Sylvia on her kids.

Megan's twin sister Sophie committed suicide few months ago, since then she's been feeling crazed. When comes time
for summer solstice trip to the lake house, in the bayou of Lousiana with her friends, Megan doesn't feel right to be going.
Not wanting to let down her friends, she goes with them to the trip. Arriving to the summer house, Megan tries to put memories about Sophie behind her, though it doesn't seem to be happening when the house is filled with memories of her. Megan wakes up in the middle of the night, finds car doors open and lights on. She finds a key chain that belonged to
Sophie. Megan confesses the happenings to Christian, who shares her feelings and reveals he has been seeing Sophie like figure after her death. Megan tries to clear her head and invites Nick, small town's shop clerk to solstice dinner she and her friends are having. Nick and Megan talk about Sophie's death and how every time Megan leaves Sophie key chain something, it finds its way back to her. Nick advices Megan to connect with Sophie's spirit to find some peace of soul. They all get in the water, hold hands and Nick starts to speak in foreign language. Suddenly Megan's hand starts to bleed and she's pulled under water for some moments. Everyone is freaked out by what happened, leave from the circle and go back to the house. After Mark plays boogeman joke on Megan, she starts coughing mud. Her friends take her back to the house, where she faints. She wakes up and runs out of the house, thinking she knows where to find Sophie, but instead they find body of a little girl named Malin. While Mark, Christian and Alicia ride to call the help from the police, Christian gets a memory flashback, where she reminds how she and Sophie hit a little girl and escaped from the crime scene. He accidentally shoots Mark with a gun and runs to the woods to find Malin. Christian confesses to Megan how he hit Malin in the car accident, he and Sophie didn't want to get arrested and buried the body. After a while Sophie committed suicide because she couldn't bear the guilt of killing and burying someone. Christian runs towards the woods, Megan is chasing him, but can't reach to him until he gets hit by a police car that has been called out. Christian dies instantly.
