American-Italian family The Montellis move to infamous Amityville house in Long Island, 112 Ocean Drive. What they don't know is the Lutz family lived there before them and escaped after finding out what a house can do to their family. The Montellis understand something evil is in there home after a glass mirror shatters during dinner. Dolores, mother of four children and wife of Anthony decides to seek help from the church. Father Frank Adamsky decides to help the family and visits their home. Plans of blessing the Montelli house fails when food from the fridge and plates are falling to the floor and Anthony assumes the kids did it and wants to punish them physically. Father Adamsky leaves, only to find his bible trashed in his car. He realizes evil spirits are trying to take control over the family he just visited. Desperately needing Father Frank's help, Dolores makes Anthony go to church and apologize to him, Sonny is left alone in the house. Feeling scared and things flying around the house again, Sonny charges his father's gun and plans to shoot the intruder. Running around at the house like a crazy person with a gun, Sonny finally becomes possessed by a evil spirit, who hasn't left the house. Family arrives back from the church and Sonny, being possessed by evil, starts playing a game with her older sister, Patricia - he being the famous photographer and she being a model. A game spins out of control and siblings end up having a intercourse. After trying to bless the house, Father Frank tries to get approval for an exorcism. Sonny is celebrating his 20-th birthday with his family and friends in their home. Demon is having a control over his body and makes his plan on killing his entire family. After his birthday party, Sonny tries to put off demon's wishes for him to kill, but can't resist his wishes and kills everybody. Father Frank has a bad forevision and rides back to Amityille, only to find whole family murdered. The only survivor is Sonny, who at first is being arrested, but becomes free of all charges since he doesn't remember anything from the murders. Father Frank visits Sonny in police station, hoping to get confession out of him. That plan fails, though Father gets a proof Sonny is possessed by a spirit. He wants to perform an exorcism on him, but won't get the approval. Father Adamsky decides to take matters into his own hands and performs an exorcism on Sonny at Amityville's house. The exorcism is successful to Sonny, leaving Father Adamsky in possession of evil spirit.

Screenplay written by Tommy Lee Wallace, who wrote screenplay for crime-drama Far From Home in 1989.
