Harry Potter is back with the Dursleys, he reminds the horrors that happened to him last year at Hogwarts, when his thoughts are interfered by Dudley and his friends, who bully Harry because of the dreams he's been having about The Dark Lord's return and killing Cedric. Harry gets angry and dark clouds are coming towards them, Dudley's friend run away.Harry feels something bad is coming and advices Dudley to run, boys get into a tunnel when Harry is attacked by Dementors.He performs a Patronus charm to get rid of the Dementors, leaving to realize Ministry of Magic wants Harry expelled from the school. Harry meets up with his old friends Harry and Hermione, who are very worried about Harry being expelled from Hogwarts. Arthur Weasley escorts Harry to the court, where the trial takes place about the expelling. With help of Professor Dumbledore, Harry is cleared from all the charges and starts his fifth year in Hogwarts. A big change is happening in Hogwarts, Professor Dolores Umbridge will take place as new teacher of Defence Against the Dark Arts, she refuses to teach the students practical magic, which makes all students wonder how they are going to protect themselves from Lord Voldemort if he really is back. Harry, Ronald and Hermione collapse a secret defence group called Dumbledore's Army. Since Harry has more experience with charms, he will be the teacher for training students in defensive spells. In the meantime Harry starts having nightmares about Voldemort and after he sees a dream, where Arthur Weasley is attacked by Nagini, Lord Voldemort's snake, the attack really happens. Potter's anger starts to get out of control. Fearing Voldemort will use Harry's mental connection to him, Dumbledore intructes Professor Snape to give Harry Occlumency lessons to help him block his mind to Voldemort. With help of Slytherin students and Argus Filch, Professor Umbridge discovers that Harry has been teaching other students with charms to protect themselves, Umbridge plans a punishment that no one has ever seen in Hogwarts. After O.W.L. exam that's been interefered by Weasley brothers, Harry gets a vision of Sirius and Voldemort, where The Dark Lord asks for a prophecy, but Sirius is ready to die for it. Harry, Ron and Hermione head to Hogwarts to meet up with Luna Lovegood, Neille Longbottom and Ginny Weasley in order to save Sirius. Though Harry realizes the vision might be sended by Voldemort, but Harry couldn't live with peace of mind if he wouldn't even try to save Sirius. Six students, armed with wands enter the Department of Mysteries, where Neville finds a prophecy Harry name on it. Death Eaters, including Lucius Malfoy and Bellastrix Lestrange, deranged cousin of Sirius. After a battle and escape attempt
that fails, Death Eaters take Ronald, Hermione, Luna, Neville and Ginny as hostages. They threat to kill Harry's friends if he doesn't give back the prophecy. Sirius arrives with other members of Order of The Pheonix, Lucius grops the prophecy and it shatters. While Sirius wins a fight over Lucius, Bellastrix kills Sirius with infamous spell that was used on Harry by Lord Voldemort. Harry escapes from the hands of Remus, running after Bellastrix to kill her. He uses the Crucio charm, but then hears Voldemort's voice. He turns his back and Voldemort appears, Harry's wand is thrown on the ground,
Voldemort and Dumbledore keep up a good fight. Later when Voldemort is gone, Harry falls to the ground, feeling the past memories, Voldemort talks through Harry to Dumbledore. Dumbledore assures to Harry it doesn't matter how alike him and Voldemort are. Ministry officials, including Cornelius Fudge arrive to Ministry of Magic right at time to see Voldemort disappearing. Fudge realizes The Dark Lord really is back and nobody has to doubt about the fact anymore.
