Enough (2002)

Slim is a young woman, who is working with her friend Ginny in a local diner. Slim receives romantic gestures from a client
named Robbie, who's busted by another customer, Mitch Haller, who maintains that Robbie had a bet for 200 dollars that he can sleep with Slim by this afternoon. Mitch defends Slim's honor and before they know, they're married and have a daughter named Gracie. Some years later when Gracie is little bit older, happy couple Mitch and Slim Hiller life and relationship isn't the same as it used to be when they started dating and living together. Mitch is working a lot and Slim spends most of the days with Gracie and being wife at home. One evening when Mitch is taking a shower and his beeper starts vibrating, Slim takes a look at the number and calls on it. For her suprise a woman voice answers and the only answer she gets from the call is that the woman's name is Darcelle and Mitch has been having an affair. She can't hold it inside and confronts him about it, Mitch is being tender, loving and asks for her forgiveness. She gives it, but after some time later Slim can't take the cheating with different women anymore. She threatens to leave him, but Mitch makes it clear he wants an open marriage and since he makes the money for the family, he's rules apply. She makes a good face in a bad game, hoping the situation will get better. She pays a visit to Mrs. Hiller, who seems to be on her son's side, Slim turns with her problem to her only friend, Ginny and they talk about relationships and men. As time goes by and Slim sees the situation isn't getting any better, she searches ways to get free of Mitch with Gracie. She even goes to the police, but won't get much help there either. One night when Mitch is sleep, Slim dresses herself up quietly, takes Gracie and heads out for the door, where Ginny and her two friends are waiting in the car. Hesitatating for some moments, Mitch grabs her back from the door, send Gracie to her room and beats up Slim badly. Ginny and her friends hear the noise and run their fastest to help her. Luck is on their side and they get out of the house with Slim and Gracie. Slim keeps on running and stays on from hotels to cheap motels since Mitch has frozen all of her accounts. Finally she and Gracie run to Seattle to her old boyfriend Joe. When FBI is knocking on Joe's door, they split fast and Slim turns to his father for money, but he laughes
out and they leave. SLim moves with Gracie to Michigan, after settling in she gets envelope from Jupiter, her father, who has been threatened by Mitch's men and sends Slim enough money to get a house. She buys a house and changes her name to Erin Ann Shleeter. Their family life seems bright after a visit from Joe. Mitch gets the information about Slim and his daughter's location very fast and confronts her in their new home. When Slim has had enough, she send Gracie to a vacation with Ginny to keep her away and she prepares herself with the help of self-defence trainer, who teaches her Krav Maga. Slim returns to Los Angeles, breaks into Mitch's new home when he's not around, hides his guns and blocks phone connections so he won't be able to call the police for help. Slim uses her newly found technique to win over Mitch physically. She succeeds and when she has an opportunity to kill him, she can't do it. After taking a call to Ginny, Mitch uses the situation to his own advantage and attacks Slim. She remembers clearly what instructor taught her, kicks Mitch in the chest and causes him to fall to his death over balcony. Police arrives some time later and they rule her actions as self-defense. With Mitch out of the picture, Slim and Gracie go to Seattle to live happy life with Joe.
