Nelson Moss has dedicated his life to being successful, but one day he gets fired. Adding pressure to Nelson's life, he gets dumped by his girlfriend, Angelica. One day an accident meeting takes place, between Nelson and Sara Deever. Eccentric, yet fizzy young woman Sara Deever lives completely different life from Nelson. He will be the newest accomplishment of hers. Sara shares her heart and apartment every month with one afflicted man, though she has rules of her own - no prejudice, commitment or falling in love. At first Nelson feels shocked by how their month long relationship should work and the way Sara lives her life. As Nelson gets to know Sara and her psyche, he realizes she's the most amazing woman he's ever met. When the november is almost through, Nelson takes part of a job meeting. Sara doesn't obviously like it and discusses it with her friend Chaz Watley. Nelson's business meeting with Vince Holland, his business and partner and Edgar Price doesn't go as expected. Price makes them a generous offer, but after Nelson sees how badly Edgar treats a waitress after messing a table up, he desist his offer, though accepting it, he would have made a lot of money for himself. One moment Nelson realizes he's fallen in love with Sara and proposes to her, she is flattered by the act, though Nelson sees she's hesitating. Sara almost confesses to him about her sickess, but when Nelson finds her medicine cabinet full of many different pills, he realizes she is not well. Nelson turns to Sara's friend, Chaz with his worry about Sara's health. Nelson realizes there's nothing he can do for Sara and must accept the fact she can't be saved. After a night alone in his thoughts while Sara is laying on the hospital bed because of her sickness, Nelson decides to interrupt Sara's Thanks giving dinner with her friends. It's first september and their month together is over. Sara doesn't want to break the rules she put on herself and though both young people admit their deep feelings to each other, Sara doesn't want to make Nelson suffer and wants to break it off. Nelson has no choice but to let Sara go, appreciate the time they had together and move on with his life.
